Snap Core started as a distributor of cameras but then moved to camera design due to existing systems in the market not being fit for purpose, either not robust enough or lacking sufficient AI capability.

Now a leading manufacturer of Hi-Tech products, exporting to global markets, Snap Core has come a long way from the days of our first prototype cameras, developing and refining our technology offering across software, hardware and AI capabilities.

The in-field data gained from installations of our equipment in a range of complex and challenging environments has brought about the incredible robust and tiny form-factor and specification elements of today’s products in each area.

Snap Core cameras are proven in the extreme environment of saltwater fishing and are able to withstand the harshness of environments while delivering high quality video and images consistently. They are purged with argon gas and pressurised as well as tested to IP68 and submerged to over 2000m underwater. Snap Core cameras have been used in the Antarctic as well as at the equator at temperatures over 50 degrees celsius and are permanently installed underwater on aquaculture farms.

Our solar powered GPS and Satellite communication systems provide real time location data in a durable, self-powered design form. Snap Core’s AIhub provides a powerful digital capture and onsite AI tool, currently proving its value in marine vessel installations. With a depth of capability in the development of advanced, robust data capture and analysis equipment, and strength in the analysis of the data gathered via our world class cloud platform, Snap Group has a deep technology offering with wide ranging application verticals.

The technology suite within Snap Core is substantial, covering advanced harsh environment hardware through to artificial intelligence capture and analysis.
